Helping community development & education nonprofits win grants and tell better stories. NYC roots, global perspective.
Most nonprofits are run by people who got into this work to create change ,not to write grant proposals or manage a content calendar.
Your communications are an afterthought. Your grants get written at midnight before a deadline. Your impact isn't reaching the funders who need to see it.
You're doing everything. And the writing keeps falling to the bottom of the list.

I work best with small-to-mid nonprofits — organizations with big missions and lean teams, who need a writing partner who gets both the craft and the cause.
I left the for-profit world because I wanted my work to mean something.
My background is in marketing communications for higher education and international organizations — including NYU Shanghai, where I spent years crafting stories that had to land for donors, administrators, and the public all at once. Before that, I worked as a writing tutor, helping students across disciplines find their strongest arguments and clearest voice.
Now I work exclusively with nonprofits, bringing the storytelling instincts of a marketer and the precision of a researcher to grant writing, fundraising copy, and impact communications.
I grew up in New York City and have lived and worked in Shanghai and Singapore — which means I bring a genuinely global perspective to community-centered work. I care deeply about organizations serving underserved communities, advancing equity, and building the kinds of public institutions that make cities livable for everyone.
When I'm not writing grants, I'm probably drinking too much tea. ✦
